  The GJRS is hosting the junior rodeo at the 2026 Hidalgo County Fair!  FINAL DAY SHEETS FOR THE HIDALGO FAIR JUNIOR RODEO ARE AVAILABLE HERE! We will not have individual copies printed, so feel free to print your own if you want to follow along. Otherwise they will be posted at the announcer's stand.  Entry forms for the GJRS at the Hidalgo County Fair are different than normal GJRS entry forms. To download an entry form, please click here. Rules will be the same as GJRS series rules. GJRS at the Hidalgo Co. Fair Entry Form Forms and payment must be postmarked to the address on the Entry Form, or hand delivered to a GJRS Board Member by Thursday, August 20th. Draw out will require  24 hours notice, or all entry fees will be forfeited . You can  download and print the entry forms, here . We realize that there may be some schedule overlap with other rodeos/events including the AZ HS Finals on the weekend of June 1st. We have done our best to schedule around everything else to find dates that work for our committee, our stock contractors and the fairgrounds. That said in trying to make things as fair as possible, y ou must attend  three of the four rodeos  to be eligible for end of the season prizes!  Please save August 9th as our makeup date if needed for rain out dates or any other issues....

Jackets will be awarded to every participant that attended at least two of our rodeos. All around prizes for the highest point boy and girl per age group if applicable will be awarded including saddles, buckles and lots of other fun winnings! Prizes this year will also be awarded to the high point event winners!  Sponsors, rodeo participants and families are all welcome!! Hope to see everyone there!!!
